We are dedicated to creating opportunities in the construction industries for the future leaders of America. Our mission is to provide young adults with the support and connections they need to procure opportunities in the trade industries while advocating the benefits of blue-collar careers.

What We Do

Building Skilled-trade Networks

Our primary goal is to build strong regional trade-company networks. We leverage these connections to procure apprenticeships, mentorships, and job opportunities for our future leaders.

Industry Awareness & Education

We are motivated to sell the skilled-trade industries to the future leaders of America. With low barriers of entry, incredible growth potential, and high job satisfaction, we believe the stigma which has previously surrounded blue-collar work is a total misconception. We target any audience from University Business Schools to disadvantaged youth.

Focus on Foster Care

Former foster children face unique challenges as they transition into adulthood. Many of these young adults lack the necessary support and resources to succeed and often struggle to find stable employment. The construction industry offers a promising career path with extraordinarily low barriers of entry. Let’s Build America, Inc. takes extra initiative to help current and former Foster Children procure opportunities, especially within the skilled-trade industries

We seek to sponsor Foster Children with the opportunity to learn Jiu-jitsu at local, approved establishments. Jiu-jitsu can benefit all ages and abilities both physically, mentally, and emotionally. The problem-solving, discipline, and perseverance learned will translate to a better prepared leader

Co-Founder

Ben Souther

Souther is a graduate from the University of Georgia where he was a Varsity Lettermen for the top-ranked Football program. Souther worked in the UGA Athletic Association as a graduate assistant in "The Georgia Way" program and as an FBI Special Agent. He and his wife previously served as Georgia State Certified Foster Parents. Souther holds a Georgia POST certification, is a licensed Real Estate Broker, has a licensed Private Investigations Agency, and currently operates a successful contracting company.

Austin Keeble

Keeble is a designer and tech-entrepreneur splitting time between Berlin, Germany and Athens, USA. Currently, he’s operating as Distinguished Faculty at General Assembly, Google Launchpad mentor and advises multiple venture-funded tech companies in exchange for equity.

Carol Smith

As a retired Educator and current Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), Smith has a deep understanding of the problems facing our future generations.
